Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual face-off, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
